Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder Ready for Bologna Show

Porsche AG will present a new version of the mid engined Boxster sports model at the upcoming 2007 Bologna Motor Show this December. The German automaker is poised to stir the Italian crowd with the Boxster RS 60 Spyder at the stand.

- mid-engine two-seater racing car
- SportDesign Package
- modified exhaust system made up of a sports exhaust combined with a dual tailpipe
- Spacer plates on the 19-inch wheels in Porsche SportDesign
- Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)
- GT silver metallic paintwork
- natural leather interior in Carrera red
- roof finished in red
- optional dark grey natural leather in conjunction with a black roof
- stainless steel door trim strips with “RS 60 Spyder” model designation
- extra-sporting gearshift lever
- special surface grooves in the centre sections of the sports seats
- centre door linings
- steering wheel rim and handbrake lever
- windscreen frame, red rear light clusters, and centre console are finished in black
- rear sections of the seat backrests and the rollbars all finished in GT silver metallic seat belts finished in silver
- silver-coloured placard on the lid of the glove compartment

According to Porsche AG, the Boxster RS 60 Spyder will roll out in worldwide market with only 1,960 limited units to be produced. The starting manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) is Euro 53,500 or about $78,848 USD.
